Terms & Conditions

Last updated 3 October 2026

These terms apply when you book a group rhythmic gymnastics class run by Hailey Barzilay (ABN [to be added]) ("we", "us"). By booking online you agree to them on behalf of yourself and each child you enrol. If you don't agree, please don't book.

1. The classes

  • Weekly group classes for ages 6 and up, all levels welcome. Classes run on Saturdays, 3.45–4.45pm.
  • Location: On the grass next to Kurrawa Surf Club, Broadbeach. This is an outdoor, public space, and we may change the exact spot on the day for safety or space.
  • Classes are taught by a certified rhythmic gymnastics coach. Content includes an introduction to rhythmic gymnastics (including ribbon and rope work), flexibility, and circus-inspired skills such as juggling and apparatus coordination.
  • You must bring your own mat. We may supply other apparatus used in class.

2. Booking and payment

  • Prices are in Australian dollars, per girl: single class $35; 3-class pass $90 ($30 a class). (GST status to be confirmed.)
  • Payment is taken in full at booking through Stripe. A booking is confirmed once payment succeeds and you reach the confirmation page.
  • You confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of each child you enrol and that the details you give are accurate.
  • Spots may be limited. We may decline or cancel a booking if a class is full or if information given is incorrect, and will refund you in full if we do.

3. The 3-class pass

  • The pass gives one girl 3 classes, used on any Saturday or Wednesday within 8 weeks of the start date you choose.
  • Unused classes expire after that period, except where we cancel a class (see section 4) or the law requires otherwise.
  • A pass is for the named girl only and cannot be shared with siblings or anyone else, or exchanged for cash. Each child attending requires her own booking.

4. Cancellations, weather and refunds

  • If we cancel a class (for example for wet weather, extreme heat, safety or illness), we'll let you know through the class updates group or by message, and we'll reschedule you to the next class or offer a full refund.
  • If you can't attend a single class, notify us at least 24 hours before and you'll receive a full refund or can move to another session. Cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, then no refund will be issued.
  • Pass holders are not entitled to refunds. A missed class becomes a credit that can be used on any Saturday or Wednesday — just message Hailey to arrange a session that works.
  • Pass classes you don't use within the validity period are not refundable, except as set out above.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including to a remedy where a service is not provided with due care and skill or isn't fit for its purpose.

5. Health, safety and supervision

  • Rhythmic gymnastics involves stretching, jumping and physical activity, and there is an inherent risk of injury, as with any sport.
  • You confirm each child is well enough to take part and that you have told us about any injury, medical condition or allergy that may affect her safety. Please update us if anything changes.
  • Parents and guardians remain responsible for their child before the class starts and after it finishes, and for any siblings or other children they bring.
  • We may ask a child to stop or sit out an activity if we think it's unsafe, and may remove a participant whose behaviour puts others at risk.
  • In an emergency we may call emergency services and your emergency contact, and act as reasonably necessary to protect your child.
  • To the extent the law allows, you take responsibility for the inherent risks of participating. This does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other law, including for our negligence or for death or personal injury caused by our failure to take due care.

6. Photos and video

We only share photos or video of your child on social media if you ticked the photo permission when booking. You can withdraw that permission any time by emailing us, and we'll stop using new images and remove existing posts where we reasonably can.

7. Behaviour

We expect respectful behaviour from everyone. Please follow the coach's instructions and look after your own belongings, which are your responsibility.

8. Your information

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may change class times, locations or these terms. Material changes to a class you've already booked will be communicated to you, and where a change means you can't reasonably attend, you can choose another date or a refund for classes not yet used.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
